How to buy reps on NinjaBuy, step by step

NinjaBuy is a shopping agent for Chinese marketplaces. You choose items on Weidian, Taobao or 1688, NinjaBuy buys them from the seller, receives them in its warehouse, shows you photos, and ships them to you together. It ships to more than 200 countries.

   Make an account

   Sign up on ninjabuy.com with your e-mail. Add your delivery address before your first parcel, written exactly as your local post expects it, with a phone number. Couriers call or text when there's a problem.

   Find an item

   The easy way is this spreadsheet: every find has a NinjaBuy button that opens the item already on NinjaBuy. If you have a link from somewhere else, paste it into NinjaBuy's search box, or use our link converter to turn any Weidian, Taobao, 1688 or agent link into a NinjaBuy link.

   Choose size, colour and quantity

   On the item page pick the variant. Read the seller's size chart, and if the item is a shoe, check whether the sizes are EU or CN. When in doubt, size up: it's easier to live with a slightly big hoodie than one you can't wear.

   Pay for the items

   Add items to your cart and check out. At this point you pay for the items and the delivery from the seller to NinjaBuy's warehouse in China, not for international shipping yet.

   Check the warehouse photos

   When the seller's parcel arrives, NinjaBuy photographs your item. Look at the photos before you ship: is it the right colour and size, is anything stained or broken, does the logo look right? If something is wrong, ask for a return or exchange while the item is still in China. Once it's shipped, that's much harder.

   Combine items into one parcel

   Wait until everything you ordered is in the warehouse, then put the items into one parcel. International shipping is charged by weight (and sometimes by size), so one heavier parcel almost always costs less than several small ones. Shoe boxes are bulky: removing them saves a lot on volume.

   Pick a shipping line and send it

   Choose a delivery option for your country, for example NinjaBuy's Ninja Saver line. Use NinjaBuy's shipping calculator to compare lines before you decide, because prices and times change.    Things that save money

   • Order several items at once and ship them together.
   • Ask for shoe boxes and extra packaging to be removed.
   • Leave heavy, cheap items (water bottles, thick hoodies) out of light hauls.
   • Read the item page fully: some listings sell only the top of a set.
